What to plant and when.
« on: December 26, 2008, 10:34 »
I saw a link, or possibly even a list, of "what to plant and when" on this forum some where, but the pesky thing is evading me at every turn.

Can anyone else remember this list so that I can locate it and pin it down for a few mins?  I also printed it off, but can not find that either.

I think it was on the site you all talk about where you get £10 of seeds if you subscribe.  The reason I ask, is because my OH got me a 5 Year Gardners Diary/Planner, and my 2yr old Son bought me a Lottie pack og gloves, twine and labels (bless them both, I do not even have a lottie yet!).

Thank you all in advance!

Could it be you are confusing "subscripiton" with John's now expired offer of £10 worth of free seeds when you buy his book.

The month by month guide's links are here...

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

You'll find the monthly growing links on the Information tab here.

I think that may be what you mean.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

It wasn't a month by month thing.

It was like a spreadsheet covering the whole year with coloured sections saying when to sow what, and when they could be harvested.

I was planning to print it and put it on my Kitchen wall by the door :D

rialla, in john's information pages as well as the monthly guides there is also a 'sowing and harvest chart'. Have you already checked this one out, I wondered as only just found it myself! doh

I think this may be what you are trying to find. :)
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

You can save the web page as a .html document, (menu at the top), or highlight the chart and copy/paste ino a word document.

Very similiar but can be printed easily!
