freecycle baths
« on: December 07, 2008, 10:53 »
Hello

I have over the last couple of days collected a couple of old baths to use on my plot as water troughs.

Quick bit of silicone to block the holes, put in place, stand in to settle.

Job done

Water collection in place

If you were willing to go as far as Bourne, you could have another one.

You know you want to keep it for next years ducks, Rob.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

He may even hide it behind his shed yet as a water butt but they don;t look pretty.

We still have our old washbasin down the bottom end. It was too nice to throw away.

That was the plan. Either that or bird bath. It's an old 1940s one so nice late deco styling.
The toilet had to be broken to get it out. It was concreted to the floor
