I am not 100% but the dark ones could be from her eggs though i have never seen the cock tred her. got no idea what breed she is

BTW su,  when i mentioned the place by the traffic lights i did not mean the shops,  i meant the little industrial estate behind the pub bottom of road last left turn seed merchant there.

Here are two more from the other silkie, sadly one died the day after it was hatched. the other eggs were not fertile and were disgarded yersterday so she has one chick to bring up :D  so that is five in total. I am well over the moon :wink: All chicks are doing well to date as well as mothers :D

SAD  DAY

The cock has passed away no apparent cause of death all others healthy no attack from predators just lying there in the corner :cry:   He has had approx 8 months of  3 girls though so he probably went a happy cock :oops: I will return the two silkie hens i had on loan after the 3 new chicks are a few more weeks old.
