Pleased to say that the first Wilkos in Cornwall has opened today in Redruth,about 30 mins by car from home.Have to say I have never been to one of their stores,but from reading some of the glowing reports on this forum,I am looking forward to making a visit in the new year after the Christmas stock has been cleared .

Hope it is a decent sized shop or you might be disappointed.  There is a small shop just opened near me but only a fraction of the stock and not worth visiting for gyo stuff

We have two quite large Wilkos close to us, but at this time of this year even the larger stores have little GYO type stuff and are instead filled with Christmas products. Wait until early in the New Year and things will change.

I discovered wilkos through a link on another site, earlier ths year. I LOVE it!
We don't have any here, in N.Ireland, so have to order online, but their deliveries have been quick and ordering is hasslefree.  I got lots of gardening stuff and all my homebrew gear from them
Great wee shop for all sorts of odds n ends!

I emailed them and asked if they've any plans for any shops here ... they don't, so far
