Ok, am bored today so am planning next years growing .  I would like to grow my brassicas over the winter in the plot vacated by my summer legumes due to space restrictions.  To do this obviously I need a small holding bed over the summer until they finally go into their more permanent winter bed.  Can this summer holding bed be used year after year  for my brassica transplants or will I have to rotate this like I do for the winter brassica bed?

It will need to be rotated to avoid disease buildup.

I put my nursery bed at the side of the bed where I am going to plant them out. It takes very little room. A yard run of nursery bed will provide about 20 plants.

I have been pondering this one too...do you plant them actually in the eventual bed but just in a row near the edge close together? or is it actually a separate strip?
