hi my chickens love potato peeling i boil them until soft, my ex bats love them so much they try to steel them from one another even thoughs there plenty to go round so funny to watch them.

they also love left over spaghetti i think they think they are some kind of worm ! i only allow these as treats no more than a couple of times a week, as i have read they can get fussy, i find this hard to belive, my girls love everything.

Mine too JB. I mix carrot and parsnip peeling with the spud too. Left over rice with cat food mixed in when they are moutling goes down a treat too :shock:

My ex battery hens are the same they love potato and carrot peelings boiled up.  All my other "posh" pure bred chickens turn their beaks up and wont touch them but the battery girls love them especially if they are still warm on a cold day.
