Point of lay birds - good time to buy?

Hey there

A supplier I bought my last two from let me know that he has another similar batch available, point of lay.

Is now a good time to biuy point of lay? Does it mean that they may lay through the winter?

Hi Peewee
I'm presuming your talking Hybrids rather than pure breeds ??
If you get POL hybrids now you will get eggs through out winter - you might not get them everyday but you will get some eggies

I dont know the difference between a hybrid and a pure breed, Im going to google hybrid now.

They arn't pure breeds, I know that much.
