Another tomato question
« on: May 10, 2006, 17:00 »
My tomatoes (Roma VF) are about 9 inches tall and some have flowers coming.  Should I pick off the flowers to encourage more plant growth?  They are not bushy at all (yet) just the main stem with flowers coming at the top.
They are in pots on the patio and get the sun from about 1pm until sunset.
I´m in Spain, so it is quite hot here now.

I wouldnt pick off any flowers just leave roma's to get on with it, you should get quite a bit of tomatoes from Roma's, just remember to feed it once a week once the flowers start.
