I Haven't pulled any snips yet (till the frosts arrive)[/size]

This was only for display purposes. Not exactly pulled nor forked out, so I didn't damage it, I dug a hole alongside it & dragged it out sideways!

Naaghh, Pull 'em out... I've got the block and tackle ready!
Life begins... On the kitchen windowsill.

I was proud of my big snips till I saw that monster
Though they didnt taste so good on Sunday ...definately need frosts, even though I gave em a blast in the freezer first it didnt seem to work

Won't be digging any more until the frosts come, sprouts are coming on nicely & it's the same with them.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Wow, DD, that's a good harvest.

Almost as good as mine

Is the red cabbage the January King, or another variety?  It can't be real, not enough lacy holes
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

The red cabbage is actually in the box, bottom left, but I know what you mean.

That is not the biggest JK cabbage I have by any means, but for some reason it does not have the holes in the outer leaves whilst the others do. This was selected as a good 'display model'!

White Gem & I won't know how many are big ones until I dig them up! I have somewhere in the region of 40 of size unknown.

What a truly beautiful display.  I do love the little corn sheaves.  It really echoes the traditional history of harvest time.

Well done DD your veg is brilliant.  How sweet of you to give it away for harvest.  Wish there were more people like you around.  (I'm sure there are on this forum, but I mean in general.)

I grow for pleasure, I've way too much ground just for the two of us. However, daughter no. 2 lives close by & is always willing to help with the excess and I swap some of the excess with a neighbour in return for horse muck!

It's a good job that harvest doesn't co-incide with the pea crop - now I would find that hard!
