[Lost in France]

Good for you Jo! I clean mine out a couple of times a week, there are 2 henhouses and when I clean depends on who's slept where! I enjoy cleaning them out and leaving them with "clean sheets!" We love clean sheets so why shouldn't the girls?! :roll:

When I first got the birds, my neighbour said "what a lovely new henhouse, enjoy it as it won't stay clean like that for long!" Well it has and will do and after many years it still smells lovely! :shock:

I used to buy the Smallholders mite and louse powders...just for the smell they gave the henhouse! When I use them, I could sleep in there myself...just a little cramped though!

I truly believe that the more attention you pay to the cleanliness of their environment, the healthier the birds will be.
