what can i do about it? my butternyt squash has two fruit on it, one only about 2inch long, the big one about 4inch by 2inch, likewise the pumpkin has only a couple about 2-3inch diameter.

what can i do to boost these? ive given them a shot of tomorite (think thats its name, tomato food), should i just keep on with that? both plants are outside, in growbags

We were given a Jamaician pumpkin when we started a few month's ago and it's not done much at all,we've given it plenty of manure water and it's planted in well manured soil but we've just put it down to the dodo summer as Aidy says.

My butternuts are non-existent this year. Loads of leaves, no fruit. 10 metres away, I have a glut of Pumpkins. Make of that what you will.
Thanks

Andy

well, its become academic with my largest. I decided to thin out the plants today, while i was thining the plant furthest from the squash, i discovered that the squash was actually growing from that plant! and i found this out when i cut it off

its obviously not ripe yet, its about 5-6inch long, 3-4inch thick. Is there anything i can do with it?
