Apple Pulp
« on: September 29, 2008, 14:41 »
I have two largish containers of apple pulp which were the remains of me cider making at the weekend, I put some in the compost bin but its full now.
Can I dig it into the ground as is or will it affect the soil too much

It won't affect the soil acidity. Just don't dump it all in one small spot or it will be quite mushy there and hard to get rid of fruit flies. Spread thinly and turn in right away.
