Cabbage Whitefly

So does anyone have a remedy for the clouds of whitefly that have made a home on my Kale for the last several weeks?

When I optimistically suggested to one of my neighbouring plotholders that at least they would die off with the cold weather, I was told that they survive all weather as the blighters have antifreeze in their blood!!

Of course the whitefly themselves can be shaken off as long as you remember to do it before you reach the kitchen but the other stuff which I assume are eggs/larvae make the leaves rather unappetising.

I try to avoid chemical sprays but all suggestions considered for next year!

what about rbhubarb leaf tea doesnt that get rid of whitefly?

Soft soap is good. Knocks themmout of the air too !
