hello all. Anyone tried a pigeon treatment for lice, mites, blood suckers and worms called One Spot?

I got some a few weeks ago and did all my birds with it - just 2 drops on the back (nape) of the neck. I think it works like frontline?? Certainly beats dosing up feed and drink for a week.

Cost me a tenner from a local feed/pigeon shop and half a bottle did 70 birds. Bargain if it works well!

I have around 80 birds and have looked at treating them with frontline but too bl**dy expensive, i'll give one spot a go

Now the sensible answer - as with any, e.g. flubenvet, a few weeks I suppose. Saying that, there aint any mites, ticks or worms on or in me, kid ;-)

Common sense I think. Just don't sell them for a while, just incase.

Birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Treated birds may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 7 days from the last treatment. For chickens producing eggs for human consumption, the withholding period is nil.

Unless your double dosing them for gape worm in which case the advise is to withdraw eggs for a couple of weeks.
