Hi all,

Has anyone ever tried to grow ginger or growing it at the moment?
Would love to know how to grow my own if anyone can help.

I've got some that I've had in a pot for a couple of years now. Looking a bit sorry for its self at the moment but hopefully will pick up (might need to split it?). Needs to be inside over winter and none of mine has been very hot but a definate ginger taste

Seems quite hard to get it to grow (no matter how much it sprouts in the veg rack!). My mum has succeeded although it has since died. I bought mine years ago and have keep it going by spliting it.

i would like to try and grow ginger as my mum used to make ginger beer that was a killer and i am very fond of the taste where can i get some seed or root or whatever i need to grow some!

My tries so far did not yield anything, however, they chit very nicely in a plastic bag. :roll:
