empty plot what next?
« on: September 07, 2008, 21:35 »
we dug out the pumpkins today, as most of the leaves were manky and harvested 3 whoppers and also spuds all finshed.
so whats best to grow this time of year, as im eager to crack on with the next seasons growing?!!!
weve already got rocket, swede, dwarf beans, spring greens growing and the remenants of runner beans, peppers, chillis, tomatoes, and sweetcorn still growing.
any advice would be smashing.
also seeds or buy plants?
we do like seeds but are there any plants around, been looking a couple of weeks ago for veg plants but nothing around

  broad beans  make you windy and smelly, you can sow cauliflower I've done some last week, don't leave it too much longer "All year round" was the variety I used.

There's some Chinese stuff that grows about now I think but never tried any.

Green manure if all else fails.
