Another Wing Clipping Thread
« on: September 01, 2008, 09:43 »
Went to close the girls up last night and although I could hear them, I couldnt see them as it had just turned dark ! On raising the torch a little higher    I noticed that 2 of them were standing on the roof of their run and getting ready to jump up onto our summerhouse roof    Managed to get them down and they flew straight back again... I shone the torch into the hen house to see where the other 2 were,  :) safely in their nest boxes   ( These 2 I clipped the wings last week but couldnt catch the other 2 escapees ! ) So as soon as I get home tonight, thats it, grab the remaining 2 and get them clipped. Didnt realise they could get that high, the roof  to the run is approx 5ft !
