Hi,

Should I prune them when they stop fruiting ?  Can I propagate them ?

I've only grown blueberries this year althought the plant has hardly grown - it was a cheap one I bought on ebay. Obviously I don't want to prune until next year or the year after but I would be interested to know if you can successfully propagate from the cuttings.

blueberries require very little pruning which is carried out in winter,remove any weak,dead,damaged or deseased wood and in the first few years remove the tips of the branches.blueberries fruit on the branches that are 2-3 years old.to encourage new growth remove a number of older branches that have fruited,

You can take either soft or har wood cuttings - the latter is more often used in early spring - , will depend on variety what the ease and success rate is.
