Any idea how tall french beans grow to ? Or do they (like everything else) vary a lot? Just wondering how tall to do the cane structure  :?:

These beans can grow to 2m or so. (I think that's a bit over 6 feet). So that's how much cane you'll need above ground.

Then a bit for luck maybe??

BTW - you were right (especially the bit for luck bit). The beans have hit the top of the frame and are pointing up at the sun (or at least were it was back in the summer)

Beans have only just started to form but should be worth the wait.
