My very first homegrown green beans (two pics)

and I am so proud I had to share a photo of them, my husband thought I was a little bonkers to be photographing beans but these are the first I have ever grown and the first real harvest I have ever done.

We had some this evening with roast pork and roast potatoes. Sadly not my potatoes as they are not quite ready to harvest, but, when they are I shall take a photo of them too

The beans were delicious

Nice beans, wish i could take pics of newly harvested veg but the kids and my OH always seem to eat it before i get a chance too.

I picked a second pot full yeseterday too

Also I have lots of green cherry tomatoes that just need some sunshine to ripen them off

It's great isn't it Ygerna?! Congratulations as well. And there's nothing wrong with taking a pic - when I had my first harvest a couple of weeks ago I took a photo, my OH saw me, groaned, and said "I suppose that's to put on your forum is it?!"

. Besides, we all love pics here! So keep posting them!

Yay - they look great. Pics are almost the rule on the forum

I've got loads to post, including my sunflowers, and a bee in a runner bean flower.
