You can slice them and grill them, douse them in lots of olive oil and garlic and use them on sandwiches or pizza or in salad. Best thing to do with courgettes IMO.

This courgette cake recipe gets rave reviews though, if anyone's keen to try it (says Lisa that didn't plant courgettes in time but has about six pumpkin plants trying to colonise half her plot .... hopefully I'll be making pumpkin bread later this year...)

people are already walking away from me when they see I have a carrier bag in my hand!! I cannot give mine away now Plus 6 plants haven't started fruiting yet *gulp*

       
I was just doing a bit of weeding around mine yesterday, and by the time i'd finished another b**ger had grown!

Had to respond to this one, my courgettes are huge, more like marrows, 2 on each plant plus about 4 normal size on each plant. Already eaten 2 of the biggies, did 5 of us with 3/4 of it. Diced in a stew if i remember.

Just dont know what to do with the rest now.....
