I was putting cow manure on the lawn and I accidentally dropped a handful or two in the tomatoe plants.  Is this going to cause E.Coli.?  Sorry if I sound too ignorant but I am new to this.

I use manure to grow most things in and I've fortunately never had a problem.  Must have a strong constitution by now
