With 4 days to go my Buff Orp mum has decided she don't want Runner Duck babies anymore  :cry:

Went in this morning an there were eggs everywhere but under her  :cry:

Have candled and seen slight movement in 2 so as my incky was on cooking some Guinea Fowl for a neighbour, I've done a quick change over and hope something happens on Wednesday?

I can't really complain I've done really well with Babies this year but well you know so near...

 Really does go to show you can't count your Ducklings till they've hatched!

Oh no - thats really bad timing   .  Lucky you had a back up plan - fingers crossed for your ducky babies.

Good luck Vember with those two, shame about this happening. Hope you have the best result possible out of this, it's really sad.

Just had a quick look at the 3 eggs in the incy and all 3 are alive



I left a couple under Lydia just to see what happened as I only have a 3 egg incubator so I'm now keeping my fingers well & truely crossed for them.

Really am shocked as they were stone cold when I found them  :shock:

thats fab news.... i had heard that if they in an incubator it can go off for 12 hours and you still have a chance... not sure if it applies when doing it the natural way although dont see why not... looks like someone smiling down anyways... brill news!
