I've received a discount offer for "Grow Your Own Magazine".  Anyone have any experience of this? How does it compare to "The Kitchen Garden"

I subscribed for a year to the GYO mag...it was ok but i found it started to repeat itself.... Although you do tend to get a lot of freebie seeds...just didn't hit the spot with me really so i didn't renew my subscription.

It's OK but like a lot of mags starts to repeat the advice sometimes a bit simplistic as well.  A good read but looking at the price I'd invest in a good book on veg growing mesel'

I Like Kitchen Garden  but I am fairly new to it all so I haven't found it repetative yet.  GYo seems ok to.  (that doesn't help does it?)

I've got a subscription to it, and really enjoy it - but I'm a complete newbie to growing veg.  I suspect I'll get a bit bored with it in a year or so, but it's been lovely for getting me enthused over the winter.  My last copy went to Egypt with me, and got some very odd looks on the plane ;-)

I went through a deja vu phase with it - every time I did something on the plot, there'd be an article the following month on what I'd just done!  I was beginning to think they were spying on me...  The recipes are quite good.

Ive got a subscription to GYO, the missus got it as a pressie, its not bad but as said, its a beginners thing, but then i am a beginner really (ok ive grown carrots and lettuce since a kid but thats all)

I will only get it for a year, after that it will naturally repeat itself,

it did tell me some interesting stuff about blueberries though
