hello readers,
 
   I need a bit of advice, very new to chicken keeping and building own house for six. my question is 'is rockwool a no no for the coop, just concerned about mites.

                               any advice would be great, thanks

Hi there, no rockwool, no insulation, just good solid construction, as like Munty says, draughts will kill your chickens, but a bit of cold won't!

In fact, they generate so much heat between them that unless it's really cold, the tricky thing is to keep them cool !
