whatever you put in to climb on make sure it doesn't just provide them with a step ladder to get out the run. Mine did that.  I laid a big pot on its side for them to go in out the rain etc and they jumped up on it, over the fence and legged it

my run will have a very secure roof on it am looking making it 6 foot high ,,

also please tell me what amount of birds i could keep in a 19 foot by 35 foot run and what size house would be suitable  { all of this is being built out of recycled wood etc an beleive me it will  be fox proof.
i was lookig at no more then 15 birds but i may settle for just 12.
