My Wyandotte has very kindly hatched 2 eggs from what i thought was a golden pencilled hamburg (crossed with a mille fleur rooster) but they both look very different - one is yellow and black and the other is much smaller and solidly dark brown...Can chicks with the same parentage turn out so different or have i got my mummy wrong?? I only have one rooster.  Any pointers appreciated.

I'm sorry I'm probably going to be no help but pics would be great - they sound like they're gorgeous.  
I maybe way off the mark here but could you have bred autosexing chicks and have a boy and a girl.  I can't really elaborate any more as I have no idea what I'm talking about but it you google on breeding autosexing chicks it may shed more light.

Yep think you could be right, guess will have to wait and see - could be the smaller darker one is a rooster (daddy mille fleur is small and dark).  thanks for your help.
