......put in peas once you have lifted your first earlies?

I am running or actually have run out of space on my shared plot and haven't enough time to clear what is left on my new plot, so I was wondering if this could be a solution which would not cause any problems pest wise?

Peas and beans are a very good choice of crop to follow pots, I think.
