Afternoon everyone. Any solutions to reverse the yellowing of my newish redcurrant(Rovada) leaves? It looks healthy apart from this. The veins on the leaf are still green but the rest of it is getting paler and paler from week to week -very noticable now. It's lacking something but I dont know what! I gave it a general liquid fertilizer about a week ago. Any suggestions? :?

It can be quite a few deficiencies, iron is common in soft fruit, but what is the soil like and how did you plant them, in what, did you feed them?

The soil seems ok -onions, pots and carrots growing around. Well composted last autumn. General liquid feed, 5, 5, 5, as far as I recall without having the container here. As I've mentioned before the plant has a fair few ants always busy on it. Could they be doing something untoward to the plant? :?

I was thinking of if it was clay, chalk, etc., anyhow, iron def is more common on chalky, alkaline soils, organic matter, manure can help, also a lot of compounds available in shops. This shows on younger leaves first.
