OK, so I'm talking to myself here  :?

I'm here now   Congratulations!  Can't wait to see some more piccies

(I'm ignoring you on the ducks.  'Cause if you get some I'll HAVE to have some as well, won't I??    And that just wouldn't do. At all. In any way.   )
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!

Well at least your hubby has resigned himself.  My hubby doesn't even know my intentions because I've already pushed him way out of his comfort zones with getting the chickens in the first place.

We run marriage enrichment weekends and are preparing to run one in 1 1/2 weeks time and most of our personal examples will be based on the 'discussions' we've had about getting chickens!!! :D

 Yeah, but by the time they go home all the couples you're 'enriching' will be 'discussing' whether THEY are going to have chickens as well

I'm not sure whether resigned is quite the right word though... I was told ( ) this morning that I can have my ducks when he gets his Harley, on the basis that we've already had lots of things we weren't supposed to be getting this year ... like chickens, an allotment, more chickens, a wormery...  I've pointed out that ducks and Harleys are in no way comparable and I don't think it's a reasonable deal ...

I don't know why he wastes so much energy ... he should know by now I'll always win in the end so he may as well just cut to the chase ... 8)

Congratulations on the hatching of your beautiful chicks. Its amazing, isn't it.
And good luck to all those going for ducks with all the preceding negotiations!!! Maybe you could just bring home some "orphaned strays" that you just happened to "find" on the way home one day
Sure I could come across some "strays" for you.

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
