beetroot
lettuce
spring onion

We are late too (bad backs).
Have just sown kale, spinach and swiss chard. Ordered some brassica seedlings, calabrese, sprouting broccoli, cauli, savoy cabbage etc.

Hopefully you should still get away with some types of carrots.
That's what i'm hoping at least as i've just planted Autumn King where my shallots were
