looking at this cabbage i know its a new type but has anyone tried or know anything about it ?

it is quite expensive biscombe but if you have clubroot and it grows like they say then its better than spending a couple of quid on something else and loosing the whole lot.
on another note.
has anyone grown cabbage or cauliflower by sowing direct into the soil with success ?
