i just baught 150 silver skin onion bulbs is there any thing i need to do to start these off like "chit" them?  they say plant in feb??

got a great deal on a bulk of seeds very happy... thanks in advance

when they say plant febuary that would be ideal but it comes down to ground conditions at the time,dont plant if the ground is frozen or water logged.
so see at the time what its like.you should spread them out on a tray and keep them dry and cool.they can rot if left all together in the bag.
if conditions are bad you can start them off in a frost free (dont have to be heated) greenhouse you can plant them in individual pots or one of those modular trays with compost to give them a head start.then when conditions are ok pop them out of the module or pot and plant the whole thing into the ground.
