Onions growing in modules are for sale in my local garden centre. In each module there are about six teeny bulbs of onions. Iam I right in thinking that i separate these. If so what is the planting distance ?

It's very late to be planting out tiny onions,but if you do decide to then separate them and plant about 4-6 inches apart.

I'm still planting my onion seedlings, won't be huge, but they'll be edible size, you can also plant them up as they are in clusters for smaller onions, they'll push each other out.

Doesn't that make them go soft in storage though?
