OKay.....!?! Now then ..... is this something I put on a chook b4 it goes in the oven...??!! lol   
Or is it something I need to feed to our girlies???

Have seen various mentions of it at diff times but am not sure what it is (NO am not a dumb blonde - seem to have grown out of that phase - just new to this "mad house of chook keeping") or when it should be used.

chicken spice is given to the chooks sprinkled on the food and they love it

I've asked for chicken spice at the produce shop, the lady looked at me like I had fallen off an apple cart.  Does it go by another name?

Hi Vi, it is called poultry spice and is a mineral suppliment to keep birds healthy. mine contains micronised wheat, ginger, turmeric, fenugreek and anniseed. Smells lovely  . Look at the caged bird section of feeds at your supplier, as mine has a picture of a cockerel and a dove on the front.
