Can someone point me to the thread where DD mentioned whalebone collars for tom plants please? I can't find it anywhere. I want to see if he mentioned any other plants it would apply to.

Thanks very much Trillium, that's the one (sorry MKHenry, had wrong author!). I agree with the watering theory and check all my seedlings by pot weight and pressing the compost, it is individual. Doesn't mention any other plants though. Is it just toms this feeding method applies to? Do any other plants have this root system?
