Domestic fowl trust lists them at £20 - I don't know if that is reasonable or not?
Do you have any other breeds as I'm interested in getting a couple more birds and want to try some pure breeds - still trying to decide which types but you are relatively local!

average prices are £2 for day to week old, if hatched to order, less if just picking from what the breeder has.

£5 un-sexed. up to about 7 - 10wks.

then £10 - rising to £15 plus at POL depending on breed, and current demands

thats for pure breeds.

hybrids, £5/£7 at POL, max

well chooks up North seem to be more expensive and in very high demand.  I ended up paying £50 for 4 pol light sussex (with free delivery  )
someone was going to a sale at York last week so they might have an idea

£12.50 each is not a bad price at all in the current market, and lets face it. £12.50 doesnt go far these days.

That is the type I have, with the featherd feet.  The cheapest for a trio here is $30.00 for the 3 of them.  But fertile dark brown eggs go for $50.00  a doz.
