Farm Ducks and Mallards.

Heyy. I'm new. I found this forum through google and I have a few questions.

We have 1 female mallard duck, and about 5 male mallards. The female has been laying numerous eggs but they've all just ended up at the bottom of our pond. So finally she created a nest in our shed. She has 14 eggs now and was sitting on them earlier. She did lay one outside of the shed when the door was closed and I can't get her to lay on it so I brought it inside. Now I have it under a heater until my dad can pick up an incubator at the store. I didn't know until a few minutes ago that they will still stay alive if they're not warm..

Well. I'm sorry to make all of this long.. lol.
My dad is going to be picking up the incubator tomorrow morning but I don't know when he'll have it back here[all of the TSC around here were out of them, so he had to have one about an hour away put on hold for us]
So... Should I take the duck eggs away from the heater and put them somewhere colder?

I'm so confused  :?

keep all eggs cool until you start to incubate them.

We had more females... but they either left or were killed by a hawk :(
I don't think we're going to be getting anymore ducks... the only chance we have is if the eggs actually hatch. . .

I'd like to be able to get more, but we're just way to busy to be able to get more

Also... I have 4 farm duck eggs, and 1 mallard egg that are going to need to be incubated... will they both take the same humidity and temp.??

Also.. The female mallard duck has 14 eggs in her nest right now.. I read on the internet that they're only suppose to have about a dozen.. so all together she has laid about 20 eggs... is that a little much?
