...UPDATE! Went chicken shopping today, got shavings, pellets, corn & grit (couldn't fit straw in car!). Fence was still up this morning, so job's a gud un! Managed to get a perch up; two  :!: strategously whacked in place with the biggest nail I could find :!:  pieces of wood and one clevely placed screw and bob's your uncle!

All that's next is the chickens, to be collected at 7.30 tonight...I can't wait
