Are they bantam wyandottes? Wyandottes are a good laying bird and even if they are bantam will lay bigger and more frequently than pekins. But pekins are so lovable!

Hi, I have both Wyandotte Bantams and Pekins, they are all adorable and give plenty of lovely eggies. If you want them to go broody to expand the flock then I personally have found that Pekins go broody at the drop of a hat  Therefore, if you are NOT looking to expand then you may want to go for Wyandottes. Its not to say that they wont go broody, they probably will but my experience is that Pekins just love being mummies  I love all my chooks but Pekins are so gentle and sweet as Foxy says and they make lovely pets :D
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!!
