Does anyone know what crops like what type of fertilizer.

At present Wilkos are offering two boxes of Blood Bone Meal and Potash fertilizer for £3. I didn't buy any because I didn't know crop what likes what fertilizer, so any replies will be gratefully received.

As a guide this season I will be growing ...
Cabbage
Sprouts
Calabrese
Swede
Sweetcorn
Greenhouse Tomatoes and Peppers
Onions
Leeks
Shallots
Peas (tons of them I hope because its our favorite Veg)
Carrots
Parsnips
So what should I buy?
I am trying to be Organic but I am not adverse to a bit of Chemical help (but only a bit)

You're asking for quite a lot of info - so it's easier to point you to the guides on NPK, fertilisers and so forth

Fish, blood and bone is an organic fertiliser and is around 5:5:5 I think - so a useful base. For most normal growing a base dressing of a handful of FBB per square yard raked in before planting is fine and follow up for crops that really need nitrogen like brassicas or sweetcorn with chicken manure pellets at a similar handful per square yard.

Of course I could spec grams per square metre but to be honest, it's just not that critical.

As a rule, soil in good heart with plenty of organic matter just needs a top up with FBB and leafy crops will benefit from extra nitrogen. Avoid making it confusing.

Tomatoes will do best with something like tomorite or make your own feed from comfrey.
