hailstones and silly chickens

Does anyone else have silly chickens like we do? Ours were outside trying to catch hailstones in the storm we had this evening :roll: !! Any sensible bird would have stayed under cover, but ours thought they were being sent food from heaven!
I made them some warm mash and vege peelings to remind them what real food tasted like and that went down a treat
