Mr Mole is back
« on: March 26, 2008, 17:25 »
:(  :x       I am not happy- he (or she) has chewed through the roots on a tomato plant while on the way through his/her tunnel :(   My brother in law has sent me some mole traps, I´d rather not use them, but if this year is anything like last year the blighter was everywhere, except the neighbours gardens- just mine      So the end of the veg patch has the traps and the house end has kiddies windmills, hoping the sound will send them back down towards the trap- or next doors garden.  I asked at the local ´garden center´ and they advised me to put down rat killer, which I don´t want to, cos of the pup.   Anyone want a mole as a pet????  That is if I can catch the blighter.

Hi,I had problems with moles tunneling in my leek trench, I soaked around the trench with jeys fluid (use as per instructions on the tin) , this stopped the moles. (Try soaking along the garden fencing as well.) Good luck.
