Can I just check that if I scrub down the concrete run with virkon-s mixed to reccomended solution, that I don't need to exclude the chooks at any time ?

Knowing them, they'll trying to eat the broom as I brush it off.  :roll:

Just bought 3 bags of bark for £10 from wickes.
B&Q garden bit was shut cos something had blown onto someone in the high winds. Prob a packet of seeds.

If it doesn't say on the packet, personally I would exclude them until it dries if poss.  It won't take long in this wind. Virkon-S is very effective and kills most nasty bugs, (I use it for the stables in the summer) but would hate to think of the chucks drinking it, they aren't the sharpest knives in the block!
