Pricking out
« on: March 11, 2008, 11:55 »
I was watching a recorded 'Geoff Hamilton' last night and noticed that he had sown seeds in a very shallow dish but quite thickly ...

My questions are ...

1) is a deeper soil not necessary?
2) should one 'prick out' sooner rather than later??
3) does the 2 real leaves apply to all plants ????

What was he sowing? Some thing can be closer together, and others much further apart. sone don't need thinning, some do. All depends on what.
