my 'just emerged' squash seedlings are going thin at the base of the stem & flopping over...

Any clues why this might be happening?

I had this with my cuc's last year, i believe, although may be corrected, that it is due to overwatering? If it is the same as my cuc's then they'll die!

Have they got n answer yes to all the usual boxes then I would n answer yes to all the usual boxes then I would suggest putting some supports in and just tieing them in gently. Don't water at night when the temp is falling and they should be ok. Oh, just thought check under the pot, if you can see signs of roots then repot.
