A bit of half-decent weather is getting me outside more. Harvesting potatoes, beans and cabbage. Trying to get what we can from the tomatoes which are not a success story this year.

Hi John. When did you sow the Karmazyn Broad Beans.

They were started in pots end of March and planted out mid-April. Very late, I know, but we got a decent crop anyway.

Interesting comment about the tomato varieties potentially running out of steam. I'd heard of varieties being overtaken by newly bred varieties with improved elements, but not about them becoming poorer against their own standards over time.
