It's funny how the little things make you happy. Among other varieties I got some Highland Burgundy Red potatoes at the West Yorkshire potato day and it made my day    My son got Red Duke of York which made him very happy.

Now to clear some weeds to plant them

They sound nice, where was the West Yorkshire potato day? I never hear of these things until it's too late  Mind you, I do go around in a complete daydream most of the time.

It was at Shipley College in Saltaire. I had never heard of it until this year but I will cartainly be going again

It's true, seed spuds are better than Prozac. I was SO excited when I saw them in the shops, I got carried away and bought loads. They're chitting away merrily whilst we're digging like mad to make room to plant them on our new allotment !!
