My packet says sow in July & August, I don't think the plants will notice if you're a few days later than that

Did you try washing it off immediately? I did that once with some leeks and they were fine.

Worth a try ASAP . Late August is best for uk spring cabbage. Even if they don't heart you should get some nice spring greens

thanks all for your replies and potty plotty lotty unfortunately I never noticed what sprayer I used till the next day when plants started to die and I got my ear bent
