Apple tree

I removed this Apple tree from my brothers garden beginning of this year to a new place we add a few apples, but very small just took a picture of the crab apples

I think you did well to get a few fruits after moving the tree to be honest.  If you mulch the base with bagged stable manure or soil improver, that will help the tree over winter.   Just make sure you don’t pile the mulch up against the trunk.
